Jack Torrance, his wife Wendy, and their young son Danny move into the Overlook Hotel, where Jack has been hired as the winter caretaker. I did enjoy the book but it felt like some chapters were a bit repetitive therefore unnecessary. Some of the language is not appropriate and it has been correctly pointed out throughout the years. Besides that, the story is good and original; and the ending is good.
